The Finance Department conducts annual and/or periodic reviews of customers’ security deposits with Jurong Port, considering their monthly transactions, payment methods, and the number of GIRO failures.
For newly onboarded customers, the Finance Department will review their security deposit three months after onboarding to assess if the initial deposit is sufficient. If necessary, the customer will be required to top up the deposit.
