Strategically located, Jurong Port is a transshipment hub with excellent connectivity to major east-west and north-south trade lanes. Along with a dedicated and competent workforce that holds high standards in safety management and governance, our port is ultimately a one stop-solution provider offering customised answers for all project requirements.
Our priority is to enhance your total cost efficiency in supply chain management.
We offer flexible, customised solutions to fit your specific needs.
Utilising the Hub and Spoke model, our port is an ideal hub for project logistics, enabling the consolidation of cargoes from various origins for onward forwarding.
Reduce double-handling by carrying out cargo rework and staging within Jurong Port instead of at an offsite rework area.
Cargoes came in via containers and were assembled in 2 weeks before being loaded out onto mother vessel to destination.
Other more complex cargoes have also been reworked and assembled in a speedy manner.
Jurong Port provided a customised solution for customers to:
– Set up under roller bases and reels at wharf to transpool from shore to vessel
– Carry out hotworks to install flexible lay equipment
– Transport heavy reels using SPTs
Our world-class infrastructure and operational competency enabled Mediterranean mooring of 152m LOA semi-submersible vessel. Heavy modules weighing up to 1000 tonnes each were transshipped and stored in our port’s Free Trade Zone (FTZ) yard. The modules were rolled out of a barge and rolled onto the semi-submersible vessel.
A 100m turret riser weighing 1200 tonnes was shipped to Jurong Port. Scrapping of the turret riser was done in our port’s FTZ open yard area for an extended period of time.
A major company set up their consolidation hub for their projects at Jurong Port for their cargoes to be further distributed to the final destination.
