Mr Roger Tan Keh Chai joined Jurong Port Board on 1 October 2024 and is appointed a member of the Executive Committee.
Mr Tan was the Regional CEO for North East Asia (NEA) and member of the Senior Management Council of PSA International, a leading global port group and trusted partner to cargo stakeholders around the world. He successfully grew the NEA region from 13 to 23 business entities during his tenure and strengthening PSA’s position in NEA.
During his 40-year tenure at PSA, Tan held key leadership roles across North-East Asia. He pioneered PSA’s overseas expansion as General Manager of Dalian Container Terminal (1996), PSA’s first international joint venture. Tan then led strategic growth in Korea as President of Incheon Container Terminal (2003-2007), and as Managing Director of PSA Tianjin (2007-2010) and President of Busan Newport International Terminal (2011-2013).
During his tenure in PSA, Mr Tan also sat on the Boards of various PSA joint-venture companies in China and South Korea.
Mr Tan graduated from RMIT University Melbourne with Bachelor of Business Administration. In 1988, he was awarded The Efficiency Medal by the Singapore Government and in 1997, he received the Technical Friendship Award for his contributions to the seaport industry by the Chinese Government.

Jurong Port began operations in 1965 as a general and bulk cargo port, serving the development needs of Singapore’s Jurong industrial estate. Today, its main gateway terminal in Singapore welcomes more than 15,000 vessels each year from both the region and internationally.
