Jurong Port has won the Port/Terminal Operator of the Year Award at the Lloyd’s List Asia Pacific Awards 2018 held at Shangri-La Hotel, Singapore on 27 September 2018.
The Lloyd’s List Awards, established 20 years ago, recognizes organizations and individuals for their exemplary performance and contributions to the maritime industry. Jurong Port clinched this award for demonstrating excellence in operational efficiency, customer service and innovation while upholding a strong safety, training and environmental record. Jurong Port’s fellow finalists this year were China Merchants Port Holdings, MMC Port Holdings, Port of Brisbane, PSA and Victoria International Container Terminal (VICT).
Mr Ooi Boon Hoe, Chief Executive Officer of Jurong Port said, “We are honoured by this Award. We would like to thank all our stakeholders, in particular our customers and port users.
