Marunda Center Terminal (MCT) is a deepwater, common user multipurpose port in Bekasi, located within Marunda Center Industrial Estate, only 9 km to the east of Tanjung Priok Port. MCT is owned and operated by PT Pelabuhan Tegar Indonesia (PTI), a port business entity also known as Badan Usaha Pelabuhan (“BUP”). PTI is a joint venture company between Jurong Port Pte Ltd and Marunda Centre Industrial Estate.
MCT has the capacity to handle an extensive range of dry bulk. We handle both edible products such as sugar and non-edible products like soda ash, sand, coal and cement.
Apart from edible products like crude palm oil (CPO) and vegetable oil, we also handle industrial oils, lubricants and chemicals such as gasoline and chemical liquid.
To safely unload liquid bulk cargo directly to the customer’s existing facilities on the mainland, our port uses a multi deck pipe rack, which supports the different pipes needed for the unloading process.
MCT’s strategic location plays a significant role in serving all points in the region. With a maximum berth draft of 9.5m, our modern facilities are able to accommodate different types of vessels and handle a wide range of general cargoes including steel, metals and heavy machineries. Our dedicated and experienced teams are on standby to ensure that your cargo is handled efficiently and safely at MCT.
Our ro/ro facility allows efficient loading and unloading operations as cargoes can be quickly rolled on and off board, which results in shorter turnaround. This service is available for a wide range of cargoes including heavy equipment, perishable goods and time-sensitive deliveries.
Marunda Center Terminal has land available for open storage and warehousing activities. Additional storage and warehousing space can also be found in Marunda Center Industrial Estate.
