Ms Jamie Ang joined Jurong Port Board on 1 January 2023 and was appointed a member of the Human Resource Committee.
In October 2021, Ms Jamie Ang joined the Public Service Division, Prime Minister Office, as the Deputy Secretary (Transformation) and concurrently held the position of Chief Executive Officer of Early Childhood Development Agency till December 2021. She had a 2-year stint as the Chief Executive Officer of Early Childhood Development Agency, Ministry of Social and Family Development.
Prior to these appointments, Ms Ang had served in several public agencies. She started her career and served two stints at the Ministry of Finance covering various portfolios including in corporate regulation, taxation, investments and budgeting. She also served at the Ministry of Health (HQ) and held various positions in Manpower Planning and Strategic Planning & Development and Healthcare Financing. Ms Ang had also moved to the Ministry of National Development and served in the Housing Division and Research & Strategy Management Division.
She was a Board member of National Parks Board from April 2015 to July 2018.
Ms Ang graduated from University of London with Bachelor of Science (Econs)(Hons Class II Upper) in 1999. She did her Master of Science (Engg-Economic System & Operations Research), Stanford University in 2000. She also did her Master of Public Management at National University of Singapore in 2014.
