At Sustainability@SG Maritime Week, Jurong Port (JP) receives the inaugural Maritime SG Carbon50 Award 2022. Maritime & Port Authority of Singapore hosted the award ceremony with Singapore Shipping Association (SSA) and Global Compact Network Singapore (GCNS) in recognition of companies that have contributed to carbon accounting adoption and emission reduction in the maritime industry. Jurong Port was one of the recipients.
Mr Tan Wee Meng, JP’s Chief Sustainability Officer said “This award is a testament to the efforts of our staff and port users who have supported our carbon accounting and emission reduction initiatives over the years. These efforts need to be sustained as we accelerate in our decarbonisation efforts and help build greener supply chains that will contribute to national and global sustainability agenda. We would like to thank everyone for their dedications and commitments and look forward to closer collaboration and continuous support.”
