SINGAPORE, 4 March 2019 – Vault Intelligence has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Jurong Port to work towards the implementation of Solo – an EHS (environmental health and safety) solution to enhance operational efficiency, employee safety, security and welfare across the port. The MoU was signed between Vault’s Chief Executive Officer, Mr David Moylan and Jurong Port’s Chief Commercial Officer and Chairman of Technology Development Committee, Mr Desmond Lim.
With a staff strength of over 800, and over 30,000 registered port users, Jurong Port plans to leverage on Vault’s Solo solution to address one of its top priorities of implementing real-time monitoring capabilities to enable situational awareness, monitoring of the workers’ vital signs, and the ability to take immediate decisions and actions to ensure their safety within port premises.

Vault will continue to support trials, product enhancements and deployment of its wearable solution, developed on the Samsung Galaxy Watch, in conjunction with Samsung. A key feature of the Solo solution is its fall detection capability which is integrated into an enterprise system on the watch. This is a world’s first for Samsung and will greatly benefit Jurong Port whose nature of work does involve staff working at heights.
