Upon receipt of Sanction Notice, offender who wish to appeal must make an appeal request via JP-Online within 7 working days (from date of Notice).

(2) Under Demerit Points System (DPS), select Appeal Request
(3) Under Appeal Type, select “Company OR Individual Appeal Request”
(4) Key in Notice Serial No.
(5) Key in Company Code / Identification No.
(6) Click ADD.
The decision of the Appeal Board is final. Appeal Result Notice will be sent to the offender notifying the outcome.
Contractors requesting to carry out any form of maintenance, repairs and other forms of ancillary works on vessel and/or at open yard/warehouse must apply for a contractor permit.
The completed and endorsed Contractor Permit and Risk Assessment are to be submitted to Counter 5 at Pass and Permit office.
Alternatively, submission can be carried out via JP-Online for approval.

(4) Under the type of application, choose “Contractor Permit”
(5) Key in Date From /To
(6) Click Submit at Application Status
(7) Click Add
(8) Complete the form & Submit.
A Hot work permit is required to be submitted for all hot work activties to be carried out within JP port premises and onboard any vessels.
A Hotwork Assessor needs to be appointed by the Agent/Contractor to carry out an assessment of the work location and its adjacent/ immediate vicinity. Upon completion of the assessment and the Hotwork assessor is satisfied that the intended hot work can be carried out safely, he/she shall then endorsed on the relevant section of the hot work permit and submit it accordingly to Counter 5 at pass and permit office.
Alternatively, submission can be carried out via JP-Online for approval.

A fire watchman is required to be on standby throughout the entire period of operation. The fire watchman is to be appointed by the contractor. The charges for the appointment of the fire watchman will be borne by the contractor.
The entry and exit of ship crews are managed by the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA).
The vessel owner’s agent must submit the crew list to the ICA through their online platform prior to entry or exit.
All crew must disembark from the vehicle before Jurong Port Main gate with their belongings and proceed to the ICA Crew Office located beside Turnstile-In and follow through all necessary immigration checks and procedures before entering and exiting Singapore.
The Jurong Port ICA Crew Office operates from 1000hrs to 2200hrs daily, and crew movements should be scheduled within this timeframe. For urgent crew clearance during non-operating hours, the shipping agent can contact Jurong Port ICA at 6267-5003 (direct line) or 9727-9750 (duty phone). The clearance will be provided on a case-by-case basis.
For any requests to deliver luggage to crew members on vessels berthed at Jurong Port, you are required to submit a formal request to the Jurong Port Security Department (JPSD) for approval beforehand. Please send any future requests to security@jp.com.sg with the following details:
During delivery, the shipping agent/delivery personnel must declare the luggage to the security officer for the security officer to check the luggage. Shipping agent/delivery personnel will be held responsible for any prohibited, controlled, or dutiable items found during the luggage checks until proven otherwise.
A valid pass is required for all personnel entering the port. Government-issued Photo ID and necessary supporting documents (e.g.: delivery order/invoice, collection note, custom permit & ESN, sponsor letter from Jurong Port account holder, relevant licence or training certification) must be submitted during pass application process. Prior to entry, personnel must have their pass scanned and biometric details enrolled for access validation.
All personnel entering and exiting the port must undergo pass and bag checks. No prohibited or contraband items are allowed. If caught in possession of such items, it will result in a fine, and the case will be escalated to the relevant authorities.
No person other than the driver can be in the vehicle when the vehicle is entering/exiting via JPMG vehicular lanes. All other persons are to bring along all their belongings and alight and enter/exit via Turnstile-In/Turnstile-Out.
