Jurong Port has won numerous accolades since its corporatisation on 1 January 2001.



Jurong Port’s ‘Smart Gate’ has been recognised as the “Most Innovative Use of Infocomm Technology” in the private sector – open category at the National Infocomm Awards (NIA). Jointly organised by the Infocomm Media Development Authority of Singapore and the Singapore infocomm Technology Federation, the NIA is Singapore's highest accolade for infocomm innovation. The award recognises companies in Singapore which have exemplified the spirit of innovation, in their development of new infocomm products and services, or their use of infocomm technology to achieve excellence. In 2010, Jurong Port also participarted in this awards and received the “Most Innovative Use of Infocomm Technology” (Private Sector) – Merit Award. 

 GPAS Jurong Port was awarded the Green Port certificate at the inaugural APEC Port Services Network (APSN) awards. According to APSN, Jurong Port has been commended for its culture of environmental sustainability, use of infrastructure and building management system. The judging was performed by the “Green Port Award System” (GPAS) evaluation committee which comprises of professionals from government agencies, port and shipping enterprises, NGOs, universities and research institutions. GPAS is one of APSN’s efforts to promote green initiatives within the port industry from participating APEC member countries. 
FROST2015 The port was named the “Asia Pacific Multi-Purpose Terminal Operator of the Year (Asia Pacific)” by Frost & Sullivan for six consecutive years, 2010 – 2015. This award recognises Jurong Port’s achievements in managing the shift in consumer demand, sustaining innovation, retaining talent, focusing on strategic transactions, addressing environmental concerns and ensuring regulatory compliance.
sqa Also in 2015, Jurong Port was awarded yet again the Singapore Quality Class (SQC) by SPRING Singapore. SQC is part of the Business Excellence (BE) initiative by SPRING, which encourages organisations to strive for superior and sustainable performance through continuous improvements. The BE framework assesses the organisation across 7 areas -- Leadership, Customers, Strategy, People, Processes, Knowledge and Results.
 Asean Energy Awards In October 2015, Jurong Port’s Administration Building was awarded first runner up in the retrofitted category under the ASEAN Best Practice Energy Efficient Building Awards. This award recognises the port’s success in creating an energy-efficient building with innovative renewable energy solutions. 



In January 2015, we announced the arrival of the first "Green Berths" in the world. A "Green Mark Award (Gold)was awarded to Jurong Port in January 2015 by Singapore's Building and Construction Authority (BCA) for two of the port's berths. The award recognises the berths' green construction methods and environmental sustainability features.



In November 2014, Jurong Port received the "ABC Waters Certification" from the Singapore Public Utilities Board (PUB) for two of its berths. The ABC Waters Certification is built around four main categories - Active, Beautiful, Clean and Innovation. For a project to be certified, it has to satisfy the criteria set for each of these categories.

ABC Waters Certification is a scheme that was launched by PUB on 1 July 2010 to provide recognition to public agencies and private developers who embrace the ABC Waters concept, and incorporate ABC Waters Design Features in their developments. 



The Jurong Port Administration Building, where the company’s headquarters is based, was awarded the Green Mark Platinum Award by the Building and Construction Authority (BCA) of Singapore in 2012. This award recognises Jurong Port’s success in creating an environment-friendly work space.
In 2016, Jurong Port was presented the Outstanding Individual Award under the National Safety and Security Watch Group Award. Led by the Singapore Police Force and Singapore Civil Defence Force, the award recognises corporations who take ownership and practices a proactive approach towards premise safety and security.

From 2008 to 2011, Jurong Port received the AFSCA Award for the “Best Container Terminal Operator in Asia (under 1-million TEUs category)”.

For the use of technology, the port received the “Most Innovative Use of Infocomm Technology” (Private Sector) – Merit Award at the Singapore National Infocomm Awards 2010. For its safety management, Jurong Port won the “Achievement in Safety” Award at the Lloyd’s List Asia Awards 2009.
